Guidelines for K-SMART Citizen Login Registration

Introduction

Follow the steps below to create a Citizen Login on the KSMART portal. Separate registration procedures are available for those residing in India and those residing abroad.

Step 1: Start Registration

  1. Open the website ksmart.lsgkerala.gov.in.
  2. Click on the Register option at the top right of the page.
  3. Then select Citizen Registration.
  4. On the next screen, choose the appropriate option from India and Abroad.

Category A: Residents of India (India)

Step 2: Verify Mobile Number

  1. Select the India option.
  2. Enter your mobile number.
  3. Click Get OTP.
  4. Enter the OTP received on your mobile in the field provided.
  5. Click Verify to confirm your mobile number.

Step 3: Start KYC

  1. Select Start KYC.
  2. Read and accept the Declaration provided.
  3. Click Proceed.

Step 4: Complete KYC Using an Identity Document

  1. Enter your Aadhaar number.
  2. Click Get OTP and verify your Aadhaar using the OTP received.
  3. If prompted, select Verify Aadhaar Details / Fetch Details.
  4. After checking the details, click Continue.
For those without Aadhaar: If available on the screen, select the I Don't Have Aadhaar option. Then, from the identity documents permitted by the portal, complete KYC as instructed using a Voter ID (Election ID), Driving Licence, Passport or PAN card.

Step 5: Complete Registration

  1. Make sure you receive the KYC Verification Success message.
  2. Click Proceed.
  3. Then follow the instructions given to log in to KSMART Citizen Login.

Category B: Residents Abroad (Abroad)

Step 2: Verify Email

  1. Select the Abroad option.
  2. Enter your email ID.
  3. Click Get OTP.
  4. Enter the OTP received in your email and click Verify.

Step 3: Start KYC

  1. Select Start KYC.
  2. Accept the Declaration.
  3. Click Proceed.

Step 4: Complete KYC Using Passport

  1. Upload your passport in the manner requested.
  2. Enter the Document Details, including the information on your passport.
  3. Click Verify to confirm the details.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Then click Proceed to complete the registration process.

Things to Note

  • Use an active mobile number or email ID.
  • Enter the OTP within the stipulated time after receiving it.
  • The details and identity documents provided during KYC must be accurate.
  • Do not share the OTP with anyone.
  • Complete the procedures according to the instructions shown on the portal and the identity documents it accepts.
