Indranchira is a scenic tourist destination located at Kadayiruppu, near Kolenchery in Ernakulam district. It is only about 4 kilometres away from the Kochi-Madurai highway. Away from the bustle of concrete jungles, it is a beautiful freshwater lake that anyone seeking greenery and fresh air can visit. An evening walk along the lovely walkway around the lake gives tourists a truly refreshing experience. Special facilities have been arranged in the park for children to play and enjoy safely. Private buses operating on the Kolenchery - Perumbavoor route pass through Indranchira. Currently, there is no separate entry fee to enter the park. (Payment is required only for activities such as boating.) It can be easily reached from Kadayiruppu, near Kolenchery, on the Kochi-Madurai national highway (NH 85).
